New discussion program from Unity 101

Unity 101 Community Radio, University Of Southampton and Southampton Solent University broadcast live one hour discussion programme entitled “Knowing You and Knowing Me” between 3pm & 4pm, supported by Awards For All.

Southampton is proud of its image as a multi-cultural society with 12 different faiths and 40 spoken languages, including many newly arrived communities. The programme is aimed at addressing community integration amongst all communities living in Southampton so we can all get to know each other better, including our cultures and food.

“Knowing You and Knowing Me” is hosted by students and others from different countries and backgrounds, from all around the world. They talk about their countries, cultures, food, festivals and music. Countries that will be involved in this programme are Mexico, Italy, Spain, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Greece, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Zambia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Uganda, United Kingdon, France and the Caribbean islands etc.
