Young Black Role Model of the Year Award

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is proud to sponsor the first Young Black Role Model of the Year Award which will form part of Black History Month in October this year. The award seeks to showcase the work and contribution made by young black people across Hampshire who, through their own efforts, have made a significant difference in improving the lives of individuals, families and their communities to make them a better place to live, work and play”.
The deadline for nominations is 1 October 2011 and the awards will be presented at Southampton v Middlesbrough football match on Saturday 29 October 2011 at St Mary’s Stadium.
